Cinny is only a Matrix client, not a server. You need to have an account on a server alrealy.

If you want to install a Matrix server on your YunoHost instance, see those apps:

  • Synapse: The reference server in Python
  • Dendrite: A second-generation Matrix server in Go, not feature-complete yet.
